iTunes & eMusic coming real soon! Its not the total package of what we really wanted to release, but its something for all you peeps out there who really support us fully. We wanna say thanks for sticking around. We hope you continue to stick around. Yes our lineup has changed. Some of you may remember we had a few different members in the group. This 7 song EP pretty much tells the story of our influences with all who were apart of the group at one point in time or another. In fact, track # 7 " what's on your mind " is kinda a tribute to those whose not in the group anymore. Shout out to the extended family members...

Anywho, here's the track list and some personal Liner Notes for all my peoples.

1) Intro/ We Here Now feat. Buddha LuvJonz

coming up with this track was the best way we could think of letting the world know who we are. It was actually one of the last tracks we made for the album, and one we really liked. Buddha is not only a talented DJ but an even better spoken word artist. We always wanted to do a track with him, and this pretty much came together. We added Justice vocals a little later and when he came with that line" beating the chest like Denzel & king Kong top of the world meng"... yeah that's exactly how we were feeling after recording it.

2) Welcome To Our World feat. Shoshannah

Shosha called me up letting me hear this crazy hook she wrote. Once I heard it and listen to the concept, everything else came into place. We were going through a lot at this time, trying to get signed, getting dissed, lost some members, you name it, we were going through it. Even just getting up together was getting difficult at times. That's the concept behind this song. Welcome to the world of an unsigned artist. This was one of Shosha's gems. The way she changed up her voice in this track with that oprah-ish tone was crazy. She truly is an amazing singer. She went on a roll after writing this one. 'TGIF" and "Warning" which featured RAIN became crazy hot tracks as well. Maybe one day we'll get the chance to release them. Another side note, Ever Wonder wasn't with the group @ the time we recorded this. So we added him later to the track. It was good hearing him back with the crew.

3) Comfort Now

We did this show in Phoenix and met up with this cat named AMD the Audible Doctor. Before the show, we were all kicking it and he played us this CD he just finished which was a tribute to the late James Brown. Sick, this cat have some flav word up. He hit us with this beat, which he actually called Comfort Now due to the sample on the hook, and Ever Wonder was all over it. We took it back to the old "dissing all whack emcees out there" kinda song. One of our favorite topics of course lol. In the words of the ForEver Wonder, "To sum it all up, bring it back home"... the start of the song had Justice and I amped beyond words could say. Justice lyrics were hot shouting out of the greats in hop-hop we all looked up too had the real heads listening. Working with Ever wonder & Justice always reminds me how much of a fan I am of hip-hop.

4) Let's Motivate

Ego trippin jawn. Plain and simple. The jump off track. Another track we had to add Ever Wonder to. This was one we love to perform to. But the remix of this song, which the band plays makes this song even better.

5) After Dark feat. Shari "Birdie" Baby

This is to me the essence of LFR especially when the girls were rocking with us. Before this track, we had another we did a remix of a song Birdie had called "Main Girl". It just was a vocal track, then Just and myself got on it and used the Clap instrumental from Soulive. I let Kraz and Neil from Soulive hear the track we did and they thought I was Mos Def; but they liked it anyway. The harmonies at the end of Main Girl was bananas between Birdie and Shosha.
We wrote this track in the park, after dark. my favorite track we ever did. Not only because I just like it, but it was the first track we all were back together again, actually, the first day Ever came back to the group. He hates this song by the way. Birdie was/is the star on this song. Once we heard that melody she came up with, we knew something was sparked! The chemistry on this cut improved the motivation on all levels with LFR. This cut was also the last time Ever, Just, Shosha, and Birdie along with myself made a song together. Keep your fingers crossed, who knows what the future may bring.

6) What You Want

No names, but the cat who produced this track is one of the most talented individuals I've met. And this track doesn't even show none of the potential this dude has. Once he's back, we're going to crate some serious gems once more. I actually hate this song personally, but everyone else loves it. Ever totally shines on this track.

7) What's On Your Mind

What's so crazy about this song, is the fact that everyone we talked about in the song left the group. Espy, another member of LFR past, heard it was was like, wow, everyone in the song isn't part of LFR. And i was like, well Shosha still is. When Ever wrote his verse, shosha was still full committed to LFR, in fact, in the backgrounds and the chorus, its actually her voice you hear besides mines. it was almost like foreshadowing or like Espy knew something we didn't know was going to happen. Either way, that's the tribute song. Shout outs to DJ Danny Williams, Shoshannah, Espy, and Birdie word up.

B.A.M. Festival

Shout out to Peter Finch ( Bridgeport's
Mayor Finch's son) for putting on a great show bringing that feel good back to Bridgeport. We need more movements like this. Can't wait for the next one. B.A.M. Festival (Bridgeport Arts & Music) was a HUGE success! Acts like the Jazz Guild, Rain, Omar, Apple Pirates, St. Bernadette, left Field Rhythms, and others came out to a free show, with free Food & liquor. Free food & drinks, and free entertainment?!? * extra shout out to the Apple Pirates and my new main man Warner for showing us love and hooking us up word up*
